Abstract

Since 1998, the map of the retail industry has undergone major changes, especially after the government carried out liberalization. Competition in the retail industry is currently very tight and continues to change along with changes in technology, developments in the business world and consumer needs. To attract consumers to buy the products on offer, it is necessary to have more services than other competitors. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of service quality, brand image and Discount Price on purchasing decisions at H&M Galaxy Mall Surabaya. In this study, researchers used a type of quantitative method. The population in this study is the customer (consumer) H&M Galaxy Mall Surabaya. The data collection method used is by distributing questionnaires. The data analysis model used in this study is a multiple linear regression model. Overall, the indicators used in this study are valid with correlation results smaller than the 0.05 significance level and reliable Cronbach Alpha > 0.6. The results of the Classical Assumption Test also show that this research has fulfilled. It can be concluded that the final result of the study is that service quality has a significant effect on purchasing decisions with a significance value of 0.002, smaller than 0.05. Brand image has a significant effect on purchasing decisions with a significance value of 0.000 which is smaller than 0.05. Discount Price has a significant effect on purchasing decisions with a significance value of 0.000 which is smaller than 0.05.
