Abstract
One of the developmental tasks of emerging adulthood is exploring identity in the field of work. This is in line with the task of fresh graduates to find their work identity. On the other hand, fresh graduates experience negative feelings due to the increasing number of unemployed and competition for jobs, are unable to establish a settled personal identity, and tend not to want to discuss the developmental tasks they have to face. Concerns in several studies indicate low individual psychological well-being. The aim of this research is to find out how closely career maturity is related to psychological well-being in fresh graduates of the University of 17 August 1945 Surabaya. The method used was a correlational design with a quantitative approach with a total of 275 participants. The measuring instrument used is based on Ryff's Psychological Well-being Scale and aspects of Career Maturity based on the Career Maturity Inventory (CMI) scale using the Pearson Product Moment correlation test analysis technique. The results of the analysis show a value of r=0.000 and a Correlation Coefficient of 0.559, so it can be said that the two variables have a positive relationship between career maturity and psychological well-being in fresh graduates at the University of 17 August 1945 Surabaya, meaning that the higher the career maturity of the fresh graduate, the higher the psychological well-being.
