Abstract

Automatic Transfer Switch (ATS) control system is a control system to operate the Transfer Switch from two or more sources of electricity. The main source of electricity used is PLN and the electricity source from the generator as a backup in the event of a blackout or trobel at the main power source. The use of Solar Cell as a source of electrical energy is still too rare on a household scale. The use of solar cells together with PLN which is less than the maximum operational system can reduce the effectiveness of the system. ATS systems in general still use manual mode of operation and have not been optimal in monitoring the system. Therefore, a transfer switch system is created automatically with the battery voltage parameters from the solar cell and the power used by the load so that it can choose the power source that will supply it. Transfer switch control system uses a microcontroller as a controller and is processed by the fuzzy method and the processing data will be displayed on a 20x4 LCD. This control system can be used on a household scale and small industry.
