Abstract
UD Kasak Paper Bag is a company engaged in paper bag production. The company faces problems in managing raw material inventory, supplier selection, and workforce planning. Raw material procurement has been carried out based on estimates, resulting in frequent material delays, stock shortages, and production process disruptions. This study aims to determine the appropriate raw material requirements planning, select the best supplier, and calculate workforce requirements so that production targets can be achieved optimally. The methods used include demand forecasting using Moving Average and Weighted Moving Average, raw material requirements planning with Material Requirement Planning (MRP), supplier selection using Simple Additive Weighting (SAW), and labor requirements calculation based on standard work time. The results show that the Moving Average method is the best forecasting method with a MAD value of 503.7 and MAPE 3.80%. The MRP calculation using the Lot For Lot (LFL) method results in a total inventory cost of Rp16,530,000, lower than the Period Order Quantity (POQ) method. The results of supplier selection show that supplier A2 obtained the highest preference value of 0.818 and was therefore designated as the main supplier. Furthermore, the 31-person workforce requirement aligns with the company's current situation. The implementation of PPIC and Supply Chain Management (SCM) can improve inventory control, production flow, and operational efficiency.
