Abstract
This study aims to examine the relationship between work-life balance and self efficacy with parenting stress among working mothers. A quantitative correlational method was employed using multiple linear regression analysis. The participants consisted of 220 working mothers selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected using work-life balance, self-efficacy, and parenting stress scales that met validity and reliability requirements. The results of very simultaneous regression analysis showed that work-life balance and self-efficacy were significantly associated with parenting stress, with an F value of 17.389 and a significance level of p = 0.000 (p < 0.01). Partial regression analysis indicated a very significant negative relationship between work-life balance and parenting stress with a t value of -4.319 and p = 0.000 (p < 0.01). A significant negative relationship was also found between self-efficacy and parenting stress with a t value of -3.100 and p = 0.003 (p < 0.01). These findings indicate that higher levels of work-life balance and self-efficacy are associated with lower levels of parenting stress among working mothers. The results emphasize the importance of role balance and self-belief as psychological resources in managing parenting stress
