Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara mindfulness dengan perilaku pembelian impulsif pada Gen Z. Permasalahan dalam penelitian ini berfokus pada sejauh mana tingkat kesadaran individu (mindfulness) berkaitan dengan kecenderungan melakukan pembelian secara spontan tanpa perencanaan (perilaku pembelian impulsif). Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain korelasional. Teknik pengambilan partisipan yang digunakan adalah incidental sampling dengan subjek penelitian berasal dari kelompok Gen Z yang memenuhi kriteria penelitian. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan terdiri atas skala mindfulness dan skala perilaku pembelian impulsif. Hasil uji asumsi menunjukkan bahwa data berdistribusi normal, sehingga analisis data dilakukan menggunakan teknik korelasi Pearson Product Moment. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data diperoleh nilai korelasi sebesar -0,226 dengan signifikansi p < 0,05, yang menunjukkan adanya hubungan negatif yang signifikan antara mindfulness dan perilaku pembelian impulsif pada Gen Z. Hasil ini mengindikasikan bahwa semakin tinggi tingkat mindfulness yang dimiliki individu, maka semakin rendah kecenderungan perilaku pembelian impulsif.
