Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis hubungan antara job crafting dan self-efficacy dengan work engagement pada guru SMP Negeri X Sidoarjo. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain korelasional. Subjek penelitian berjumlah 41 guru yang dipilih menggunakan teknik sampel jenuh. Variabel penelitian meliputi job crafting, self-efficacy, dan work engagement, yang diukur menggunakan skala Likert. Analisis data dilakukan dengan regresi linier berganda menggunakan SPSS 26. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa job crafting berpengaruh positif dan sangat signifikan terhadap work engagement dengan nilai t sebesar 3,978 dan p = 0,000, yang mengindikasikan bahwa semakin tinggi job crafting yang dimiliki guru, maka semakin tinggi pula tingkat work engagement. Sementara itu, self-efficacy menunjukkan hubungan positif namun tidak signifikan terhadap work engagement dengan nilai t sebesar 0,344 dan p = 0,733. Secara simultan, job crafting dan self-efficacy memberikan kontribusi sebesar 68,3% terhadap work engagement (R² = 0,683), yang menunjukkan bahwa kedua variabel tersebut berperan penting dalam meningkatkan keterlibatan kerja guru, meskipun job crafting memiliki peran yang lebih dominan. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa upaya guru dalam membentuk dan menyesuaikan pekerjaannya secara proaktif lebih berpengaruh dalam meningkatkan work engagement dibandingkan keyakinan terhadap kemampuan diri semata.
