Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh mental accounting, gaya hidup konsumtif, dan literasi keuangan terhadap perilaku keuangan mahasiswa akuntansi di Universitas 17 Agustus 1945 Surabaya. Meskipun mahasiswa akuntansi memiliki pengetahuan keuangan yang memadai secara teoritis, perilaku pengelolaan keuangan mereka seringkali kurang optimal karena pengaruh beberapa faktor psikologis dan sosial. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan sampel 150 mahasiswa semester 5 dan 7, yang dipilih secara purposive sampling. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan kuesioner dengan skala Likert 4 poin dan dianalisis menggunakan regresi linier berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa secara parsial mental accounting dan literasi keuangan berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap perilaku keuangan mahasiswa, sedangkan gaya hidup konsumtif berpengaruh negatif. Secara simultan, ketiga variabel tersebut juga berpengaruh signifikan. Temuan ini menyoroti pentingnya peningkatan pemahaman dan penerapan mental accounting dan literasi keuangan untuk mengurangi perilaku konsumtif dan meningkatkan pengelolaan keuangan mahasiswa. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi praktis bagi institusi pendidikan dan mahasiswa dalam membangun pengelolaan keuangan pribadi yang lebih sehat dan berkelanjutan.
