Abstract

This study used a quantitative correlational design. The participants consisted of 116 Love and Deepspace players selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected using online questionnaires that measured Fear of Missing Out (FoMO) and Impulsive Buying. Data analysis was conducted using the Pearson Product Moment correlation test with the assistance of SPSS software. The results showed a positive and significant relationship between Fear of Missing Out (FoMO) and Impulsive Buying, with a correlation coefficient of r = 0.543 and a significance value of p = 0.000 (p < 0.05). These findings indicate that higher levels of Fear of Missing Out (FoMO) are associated with a greater tendency toward impulsive item purchases. Therefore, the research hypothesis was accepted.
