Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara kepuasan hidup dan dukungan sosial dengan psychological well being pada wanita dewasa awal yang memilih untuk childfree. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan teknik analisis linier berganda. Pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini menggunakan teknik purposive sampling yang melibatkan 116 partisipan wanita dewasa awal berusia 20-40 tahun yang secara sadar memilih untuk childfree. Data diperoleh melalui skala psychological well being, skala kepuasan hidup, dan skala dukungan sosial yang telah diuji validitas dan reliabilitasnya. Berdasarkan hasil analisis regresi berganda yang telah dilakukan menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara kepuasan hidup dan dukungan sosial dengan psychological wellbeing. Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa kepuasan hidup pribadi menjadi faktor utama dalam membentuk kesejahteraan psikologis wanita yang memilih untuk childfree, sementara dukungan sosial hanya akan berpengaruh jika selaras dengan nilai dan pilihan hidup individu. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi landasan untuk pengembangan intervensi psikologis yang lebih peka terhadap keberagaman pilihan hidup perempuan.
