Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan dukungan sosial terhadap kesiapan kerja generasi Z. Hipotesis yang diajukan adalah adanya hubungan dukungan sosial terhadap kesiapan kerja generasi Z. Semakin tinggi dukungan sosial, maka semakin tinggi kesiapan kerja. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif.Penelitian ini dilakukan pada 191 partisipan mahasiswa yang sedang mengerjakan skripsi. Instrumen yang dipilih dalam penelitian ini adalah skala kesiapan kerja dari Caballero et.al., (2011) dan skala Multidimensional Scale of Perceived Social Support(MSPSS) dari Zimet et.al., (1988). Data tersebut kemudian di analisis menggunakan teknik analisis data Spearman Rho dengan SPSS 22 for Windows. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data penelitian yang dilakukan, diperoleh hasil uji korelasi sederhana antara dukungan sosial dengan kesiapan kerja sebesar 0,440 dengan nilai signifikansi p = 0,000 (p < 0,01) yang juga berarti ada hubungan positif dan hubungan yang sangat signifikan antara dukungan sosial dan kesiapan kerja. Hipotesis diterima ketika penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa peningkatan dukungan sosial berhubungan erat dengan kesiapan kerja generasi Z.
