Abstract

Kesulitan keputusan karir yang dialami siswa SMK mengakibatkan penghindaaran keputusan karir dan pada akhirnya kehilangan kesempatan yang baik di masa depannya, Kesulitan keputusan karir bisa terjadi karena kurangnya informasi mengenai karir tersebut. Informasi bisa didapat dari orang disekitarnya termasuk dalam pembagian informasi mengenai apa yang dipikirkan dan keinganan dari siswa. Tujuan dari penelitian ini ialah mengetahui hubungan antara self-disclosure dan family functioning dengan keputusan karir siswa SMK. Metode penelitian yang dipakai dalam penelitian ini ialah metode kuantitatif korelasional. Penlitian ini menggunakan analisis regresi linier berganda untuk mengolah data dengan populasi sebanyak 140 siswa. Dari hasil data yang diolah menunjukan Variabel self disclosure dan family functioning bersama-sama memiliki hubungan dengan variabel keraguan keputusan karir, Hubungan dari ketiganya bernilai negatif. Hal ini berarti semakin tinggi self disclosure dan family functioning akan semakin rendah keraguan dalam memutuskan karirnya. Self disclosure atau pengungkapan diri dilakukan siswa dalam rangka mendapat penyelesaian terhadap masalah yang sedang di alami atau timbal balik dalam bentuk dukungan yang ia dapatkan dari sekitarnya terutama didalam melegakan perasaannya. Didalam penelitian ini ditemukan variabel self disclosure jika dipisahkan dengan variabel family functioning menghsilkan hubungan yang tidak signifikan sedangkan family functioning ketika di analisis dengan keputusan karir memiliki hubungan yang signifikan.
