Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji hubungan antara job crafting dan meaningful work terhadap work engagement pada karyawan di PT X. Sampel dari penelitian ini ada seluruh populasi karyawan di PT X yaitu 100 orang. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif deskriptif dengan teknik korelasional. Instrumen yang digunakan terdiri dari The Utrecht Work engagement Scale (UWES) dengan 9 item, Job crafting Scale (JCS) dengan 21 item, dan The Work and Meaning Inventory (WAMI) yang terdiri dari 10 item, yang telah diuji validitas dan reliabilitasnya. Analisis data dilakukan melalui uji korelasi regresi berganda untuk mengevaluasi pengaruh variabel bebas (job crafting dan meaningful work) terhadap variabel terikat (work engagement). Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa job crafting memiliki hubungan positif dan signifikan terhadap work engagement (p < 0,05), begitu pula meaningful work (p < 0,05). Selain itu, kombinasi kedua variabel tersebut secara simultan juga memberikan kontribusi signifikan dalam meningkatkan work engagement karyawan di PT X.
