Abstract

This study aims to examine the relationship between self-regulated learning and self-efficacy with academic resilience among students participating in the Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) program. This research employs a quantitative method with a non-probability sampling technique, specifically quota sampling, involving a total of 230 participants. The data were collected using questionnaires with a Likert scale. The results indicate a positive relationship between self-regulated learning and self-efficacy with academic resilience among students in the MBKM program. Multiple regression analysis shows that self-regulated learning (X1), self-efficacy (X2), and academic resilience (Y) are related with R = 0.769; R square = 0.591; F = 163.849; and a significance value of 0.000 (P < 0.01). This implies that self-regulated learning and self-efficacy collectively have a significant relationship with academic resilience, contributing 59.1%, while the remaining 40.9% is influenced by other variables not included in this study. Thus, the higher the self-regulated learning and self-efficacy possessed by an individual, the higher their academic resilience will be.
