Abstract

Seiring berkembangnya teknologi berbagai inovasi baru yang muncul yang salah satunya dibidang keuangan atau yang biasa disebut dengan Teknologi Keuangan. Manusia sebagai makhluk sosial cenderung memiliki keinginan atau kebutuhan yang pada dasarnya pasti menggunakan uang. Teknologi keuangan merujuk kepada pemanfaatan teknologi dalam memberikan layanan keuangan secara efisien. Teknologi ini mencakup berbagai jenis inovasi teknologi dimana dapat mempengaruhi cara berinteraksi kita terhadap keuangan yang salah satu contohnya adalah pinjaman peer to peer. Fokus penelitian ini untuk memberikan kajian secara mendalam serta memberikan kontribusi dibidang ilmu hukum terkait dengan urgensi perlindungan data pribadi dalam menjamin hak masyarakat serta untuk mengetahui pengaturan mengenai perlindungan hukum yang efektif kontak darurat secara sepihak. Penelitian yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah jenis penelitian yuridis normatif. Penelitian yuridis normatif adalah penelitian yang dilakukan dengan cara meneliti bahan pustaka atau bahan sekunder yang mendasarkan analisisnya pada peraturan perundang-undangan yang berlaku. Perlindungan hukum bagi emergency contact di Indonesia didasarkan pada beberapa regulasi yang mengatur perlindungan data pribadi. Undang-Undang Perlindungan Data Pribadi (UU No. 27 Tahun 2022) menetapkan bahwa emergency contact termasuk sebagai subjek data pribadi yang memiliki hak atas perlindungan data, termasuk hak untuk mendapatkan informasi yang jelas, mengakses, mengubah, dan menghapus data, serta kewajiban pengendali data untuk memperoleh persetujuan eksplisit sebelum menggunakan data dan menjamin keamanannya.
