Abstract

Burnout is a syndrome of physical and mental fatigue that can cause changes in attitudes and behavior towards negative. Psychological Capital as an internal factor and social support as an internal factor can reduce the potential for burnout in bank employees. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between Psychological Capital and social support on Burnout in bank employees. This study is a quantitative study involving the entire population of 158 respondents. The results of the study were tested using the Spearman's Rho analysis test. The results of the correlation test between the Psychological Capital variable and Burnout obtained a correlation coefficient of -0.602 with a significance value of 0.000 (p <0.01). The conclusion is that there is a very significant negative relationship between Psychological Capital and Burnout, meaning that the higher the Psychological Capital, the lower the Burnout, conversely, the lower the Psychological Capital, the higher the Burnout. The results of the correlation test between the Social Support variable and Burnout obtained a correlation coefficient of - 0.569 with a significance value of 0.000 (p <0.01). In conclusion, there is a very significant negative relationship between Social Support and Burnout, meaning that the higher the Social Support, the lower the Burnout, conversely, the lower the Social Support, the higher the Burnout.
