Abstract
This study aims to determine the relationship between Burnout and employee job satisfaction at PT X. The hypothesis in this study is that there is a negative and significant relationship between Burnout and employee job satisfaction at PT X. The hypothesis in this study is that there is a negative and significant relationship between Burnout and employee job satisfaction at PT X. The method in this research is quantitative research using total non probability sampling technique; purposive sampling. The subjects in this study were 102 employees at PT X. The sampling technique used the entire population by distributing participant questionnaires. The data collection instrument used a Likert scale. Research data were taken using a job satisfaction scale consisting of 25 items and a Burnout scale consisting of 26 items. Data analysis in this study used statistical analysis using the Spearman Brown correlation test with the help of SPSS 25.0 software for Windows. The results showed a correlation coefficient of r = -0.261 with a significance value of p = 0.008 which is highly significant. This indicates a negative and significant relationship between Burnout and job satisfaction. The higher the Burnout, the lower the job satisfaction, and vice versa. Based on the results, it can be concluded that the research hypothesis can be accepted.
