Abstract
This study aims to explore the effect of strengthening creativity and innovation on the business performance of MSEs in the G-Walk Surabaya Culinary Center. Micro and Small Enterprises (MSEs) have an important role in the Indonesian economy, including MSEs in G-Walk Surabaya which consists of 85 culinary businesses. Creativity and innovation are key factors in entrepreneurship that can improve business performance. This research uses a quantitative approach with a survey method, involving 90 culinary MSE owners as respondents. Data analysis was conducted through validity, reliability, normality, multicollinearity, heteroscedasticity, and multiple linear regression tests. The results showed that: Strengthening creativity has a significant effect on business performance, with the fluency of thinking indicator providing the highest influence, Innovation has a significant effect on business performance, with the development indicator providing the highest influence, Strengthening creativity and innovation simultaneously have a significant effect on business performance, with innovation as a more dominant factor. The coefficient of determination (R²) of 46.6% indicates that the variables of strengthening creativity and innovation together affect business performance by 46.6%, while the remaining 53.4% is influenced by other variables not studied. This study supports previous findings that creativity and innovation contribute positively to business performance. This result implies that increasing creativity and innovation among MSEs can significantly improve their business performance.
