Abstract

This research aims to measure the influence of the use of brand ambassador Mingyu Seventeen on Innisfree's brand awareness on Instagram @innisfreeindonesia using the SOR (Stimulus-Organism-Response) theory. The method used is explanatory quantitative, with data analysis conducted using SPSS 26. The research sample, consisting of 100 people, was determined using the Slovin Formula. The t-test results show a significance value of 0.000, which means the value is smaller than 0.05, indicating that the independent variable (brand ambassador) has a significant effect on the dependent variable (purchase decision). The calculated t value is 7.013, which is greater than the t-table value of 1.984, indicating that Ha is accepted and H0 is rejected. The results of this research are in line with the research of Mutiah et al. (2021), which states that brand ambassadors influence brand awareness.
