Abstract

n the digital era which is currently developing rapidly, of course social media and e-commerce are increasingly sophisticated. One of them is Tiktokshop, tiktokshop is a social media platform that is used to carry out online buying and selling transactions. Tiktokshop is currently growing rapidly, many users like this platform, especially among teenagers and adults. Researchers made observations about the perceptions of TikTokShop users regarding the government's policy of restricting TikTok Shop social media as e-commerce. This research aims to explore TikTokShop users' perceptions of the government's policy of restricting TikTok Shop's social media as an e-commerce platform. This study uses a qualitative approach with data collection techniques through in-depth interviews and content analysis of user comments. Respondents engaged in discussions about the impact of the policy on their online shopping experience, as well as their views on regulatory policy in a broader context. It is hoped that the findings from this research will provide valuable insight for the government in designing policies that are more inclusive and consider user perspectives and experiences in managing e-commerce platforms in the current digital era.
