Abstract

As stated in Law Number 6 of 2014 concerning Villages (Village Autonomy). Refers to a legal entity that includes Conventional Villages and Traditional Villages or can also have another meaning, hereinafter referred to as Village. As a government body that interacts directly with the community, the role of the Village is very important in providing services to the public. The implementation of Village Government is based on the principles of legal certainty, orderly government administration, public interest order, openness, proportionality, accountability, effectiveness, efficiency, local wisdom, diversity and participativeness. These principles are in accordance with the concept of implementing good Village Government governance or what is called Good Governance. The aim of this research is to analyze and describe the Village Head's Leadership in Realizing Good Governance from a New Public Leadership Perspective in Krikilan Village, Driyorejo District, Gresik Regency, East Java Province. In this research, the author needs primary data, interviews, and direct documentation in the field as well as secondary data in the form of data or information related to the research focus. The informants in this research were the Village Head, Village Secretary, Finance Head, Planning Head, TU and General Head, and the Krikilan Village Community. Based on research results, Village Head Leadership in Realizing Good Governance from the New Public Leadership Perspective in Krikilan Village, Driyorejo District, Gresik Regency, East Java Province has been implemented quite well in terms of the theoretical indicators of Good Governance principles, namely: Accountability, Transparency, Openness, Rule of Law and Theory New Public Leadership which includes: The Role of Leadership, Network Management and Public Values as a Result of Effective Public Leadership. From the results of this research it can be concluded that the Village Head's Leadership in Realizing Good Governance from the New Public Leadership Perspective in Krikilan Village, Driyorejo District, Gresik Regency, East Java Province has been carried out quite well looking at the Leadership Role Factor in terms of the Rule of Law. Network Management Factors in terms of Accountability, Transparency, Rule of Law. And Public Value Factors as a Result of Effective Public Leadership in terms of Accountability, Transparency, Rule of Law.
