Abstract

UMKM H. Muslikun is a business that produces traditional woven sarongs with ATBM. To produce woven sarong, the production process starts with motif design, yarn dyeing, yarn bombing, yarn bundling, yarn weaving with ATBM, cloth sewing, finishing or washing the sarong, and finally packaging. In the production process, the yarn dyeing process is one of the most important processes and affects the products produced. In this yarn dyeing process, it still uses manual tools, and lacks ergonomics because the position of the worker is slightly bent, besides that the production capacity that can be produced is still quite small. This results in workers being less comfortable and unable to fulfill the yarn needs needed if there is a spike in demand due to increased production. So, from this, in this study a yarn dyeing tool that is in accordance with ergonomics using anthropometric methods will be made so that workers are comfortable and can increase production capacity in the yarn dyeing process. From anthropometric data processing, the dimensions of the machine are obtained 100cm high, and 58 cm wide. from the trial results, it was found that the capacity of the yarn that could be dyed was 180 rolls from the previous 150 rolls of yarn in a day.
