Abstract

Body dissatisfaction akan merasa adanya pantauan dari individu lain terhadap fisiknya Sehingga muncul perasaan malu karena adanya perasaann penampilan individu lain terhadap perampilan fisikenya. Hal tersebut pemikiran negatif dampak negatif pada memberikan individu seperti kecemasan yang dirasakan kemudian individu juga lebih rentan berperilaku mnemeriksa ampilan aspek ketiga yakni body checking. Individu yang tubuhnya seperti pada body dissatisfaction akan sering memeriksa tubutnya sendiri mengalami berkali- kali memastikan tampilan fisiknyakemudian seperti bercermin menimbang berat badannya karena efek dari penilaian negatif akan tubuhnya. Sehingga hal tersebut memberikan dampak yang salah satunya semakin cenderung berkeinginan untuk merubah dirinya karena send akan tubuhnya sendiri. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif korelasional. Subjek yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah ibu pasca melahirkan yang berusia 20 -35 tahun dengan jumlah sampel penelitian adalah 131 responden. Alat ukur yang digunakan body disatisfaction dan sosial comparison adalah analisis spearman rho’s. Data yang dihasilkan dari analisis spearman rho’s menunjukan nilai koefisien sebesar 0,300. dengan nilai signifikansi 0,000 Hasil menunjukan bahwa terdapat korelasi yang positif dan signifikan antara body disatisfaction dan sosial comparison. Ibu pasca melahirkan yang sering membandingkan diri dengan orang lain itu adalah salah satu dampak dari ketidakpuasan bentuk tubuh yang dialami setelah melahirkan
