Abstract

This research aims to determine whether there is a relationship between self-leadership and proactive behavior in students taking part in the MBKM program. This analysis uses the independent variable self-leadership and the dependent variable, namely proactive behavior. This research is a type of quantitative research using correlational quantitative methods. The sampling technique in this research used saturated sampling or total sampling with a sample of 135 students. The subjects in this research were students taking part in the MBKM program. The instruments in this research are the self-leadership scale and the proactive behavior scale. The data analysis technique uses simple linear regression analysis with the help of SPSS version 25.0 for Windows. The correlation coefficient result is 0.522, which shows that the correlation coefficient level in this study has a positive relationship, with a significance level of 0.000 (p = <0.05). This means that the higher the level of self-leadership a student has, the higher the student's proactive behavior will be. On the other hand, the lower the level of self-leadership in students, the lower the proactive behavior they will have.
