Abstract

Quarter Life Crisis is a condition experienced by individuals in early adulthood with a picture of an unstable situation, many choices to be made, anxiety, and even feelings of hopelessness. Quarter life crisis is also experienced by final year collage students. The crisis experienced by final year students is caused by various difficulties such as finding a thesis title, limited funds, anxiety related to connecting with supervisors, continuous revision, and having to complete their education within a certain time, worries about their career, and other demands after graduation. The research method used is a quantitative research method, namely a research method using numbers and statistics in collecting and analyzing data that can be measured. The data collection method in this research uses a questionnaire. This research aims to determine the relationship between gratitude and quarter life crisis in final year students at the University of 17 August 1945 Surabaya. The results of research conducted on 288 final year students at the University of 17 August 1945 Surabaya showed that there was a positive relationship between the gratitude variable and the quarter life crisis variable. This shows that the higher the gratitude, the higher the tendency for a person to be in the quarter life crisis phase so that the hypothesis in this study is declared rejected. The conclusion from the results of research conducted on final year students at the University of 17 August 1945 Surabaya was that a correlation coefficient score of 0.893 was obtained with a significance of p = 0.000 (p < 0.001). This means that there is a positive relationship between gratitude and the quarter life crisis in final year students at the University of 17 August 1945 Surabaya.
