Abstract

(KSPPS) Muamalah Berkah Sejahtera is a non-bank sharia financial institution with a legal entity as a cooperative with Legal Entity Number: 109/BH/XVI.37/2008, dated June 12, 2008. As a cooperative engaged in services finance, including deposits and loans, it is necessary to apply a Balanced Scorecard to measure its performance so that it can survive and compete with competitors. This research was conducted because (KSPPS) Muamalah Berkah Sejahtera has problems related to the not yet implemented Balance Scorecard method which is one of the strategic planning tools that is able to unite existing perspectives to achieve the vision desired by the cooperative. The Balanced Scorecard includes performance measurement from four perspectives: financial perspective, customer perspective, internal business process perspective and growth and learning perspective. This research was conducted at the (KSPPS) Muamalah Sejahtera which is located at Jl. Copyright Date III A No. 54-F, Date, Kec. Gayungan City of Surabaya. This type of research is descriptive qualitative research. The sample in this study was taken from several respondents from cooperative members and employees of the (KSPPS) Muamalah Berkah Sejahtera, namely the Chairperson of the Management, Manager, Head of Marketing. Data collection techniques were carried out by means of interviews, observation, questionnaires (questionnaires) and documentation. The results of this study indicate that the performance of cooperatives with the balanced scorecard method in the period 2019 to 2021 that overall cooperative performance is good. The use of the Balanced Scorecard method in measuring the company's performance produces an overview of the company's performance both financially and non-financially.
