Abstract

Dama Printing Adv. is an UKM engaged in digital printing, located in Jogodalu Village Rt.08 Rw.02, Benjeng District, Gresik-East Java. For Dama Printing Adv. in its own production activities assisted by 2 employees. For now, dama printing adv. in the production process there are often obstacles caused by frequent buildup in certain processes that cause order cancellations. Therefore, it is necessary to have a measurement of the system performance of each production line, so that the source of the existing problems can be identified and then corrective action is taken on these problems. so that losses from order cancellations can be minimized. One of the approaches used to overcome this problem is a discrete system simulation approach. The simulation process of the existing system is carried out with the help of arena software, the simulation process is carried out to determine the location of the emergence of these problems, then from the measurement results, simulations of the improvements can be carried out which is expected to achieve the goal. The main objective is to improve system performance on each production line. From the results of research that has been carried out, namely the output of existing simulations or simulations of real conditions, the output results are 15 customers served per day, after knowing the location of the cause of the problem and carrying out several improvement scenarios, the output results are 23 customers who are successfully served per day or an increase of 30%. from the existing simulation output.
