Abstract
This research is caused by the problem of one's commitment to the organization or company which is the main topic in the world of work. Some organizations apply commitment as one of the requirements to occupy a certain position in the vacancy offered. This understanding aims to create conducive working conditions so that the company can run efficiently and effectively (Kuntjoro, 2002). BPS data shows that there are around 12,680 workers in Indonesia who have been laid off from January to February 2016 (BPS.go.id). In general the level of employee organizational commitment can be seen from several factors, one of which is self-efficacy. While organizational members who have a high commitment will make a positive contribution to the achievement of the organization, try hard, and try to maintain their membership in an organization. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between self-efficacy and organizational commitment to employees. This research was conducted on 100 subjects at PT. PLN Persero Banyuwangi. Retrieval of data using self-efficacy scale and scale of organizational commitment with the Likert model. Based on the Pearson Product Moment correlation test using SPSS version 24, the correlation coefficient (r) = 0.689 with a significance value (p) = 0.000 <0.01, then it means that there is a very significant positive correlation between self-efficacy and organizational commitment. So the company or organization can consider the level of self-efficacy when looking for employees so that the company gets employees who have high organizational commitment.
