Road infrastructure development in the current era, especially the construction of roads in the middle section of Java is carried out based on Nawacita priority data wherein there is a national prion implemented by the Ministry of Public Works. The condition of our national road which still uses a lot of flexible pavement needs to be reviewed. The feasibility of the type of construction carried out on a project needs to be done in order to obtain the effectiveness of the age of construction, cost effectiveness and other benefits. As the existing field conditions in the construction of Flexible Pavement (Pavement using Asphalt) are more dominant, this is because there are many advantages and conveniences in its implementation, including comfort, ease of implementation, availability of resources and technology and costs that can be reduced. The road work with Rigid Pavement construction (Rigid Concrete pavement) is used less because it requires a much higher cost. Concrete Construction Works have several advantages over asphalt construction, namely weather resistance, resistance to soil movement, resistance to traffic and a much longer maintenance period compared to asphalt construction. The condition of the National road segment, precisely on the Caruban road, is a segment through which heavy traffic is traversed, so it is necessary to study the pavement construction on the section, in this case using flexible pavement (asphalt) and rigid pavement.
