Abstract

In the development of the world of construction increasingly rapidly, even all aspects of life also developed marked by the construction of buildings and other facilities including the East Java Regional Immigration Office under the Minister of Law and Human Rights in this case developing Passport and Visa Services through the Immigration Class III Non-TPI Office (Immigration Check Points ) Kediri can be said as a construction service business actor because it is the owner (owner) of a project.With the existing condition of the building land of Immigration Office Building Class III Non TPI Kediri mentioned above, innovation and creativity are needed to find alternative designs that can speed up work and save costs incurred without reducing the quality of construction work. Because the construction was immediately carried out, it was possible to do Value Engineering by changing the landfill with a floating floor structure in the hope that the function and aesthetics of the building would not change. By thinking creatively, developing ideas to make alternative choices from various aspects of the material, work implementation methods, consideration of implementation time, then doing evaluation, development and presented for decision making. Based on the results of the application of Value Engineering analysis, for soil fill work, an alternative material is found, namely Sandstonte/Sirtu replaced with a Floating Floor Structure and there is a construction cost savings of Rp. 851,677,000.00 or more economical at 3.64% of the Initial Cost Budget Plan. In terms of time, the Floating floor structure can be completed in only 12 days from the time required by Sirtu to take 36 days, with a difference of 24 days, so that there is an efficient time for construction implementation after the Value Engineering analysis.
