Abstract

Pekerjaan yang paling banyak diminati para Wanita kebanyakan adalah seorang SPG (Sales Promotion Girls). Cara kerjanya yang mudah dan tidak membutuhkan skill yang terlalu mahir dan hanya mengandalkan modal paras yang cantik dan sexy, yang terpenting harus bisa mencapai target perusahaan yang sudah ditentukan itu sudah cukup. SPG merupakan suatu profesi yang bergerak dalam bidang pemasaran atau promosi suatu produk. Latar belakang pendidikan kebanyakan SPG adalah setingkat SMA (Sekolah Menengah Atas). SPG dituntut sebagaimana berkomunikasi dengan baik agar dapat meyakinkan konsumen baik komunikasi verbal dan komunikasi non verbal. dengan itu SPG harus mampu dan dapat mengimbangi dengan Bahasa tubuh agar memberikan efek pada konsumen. Dibalik cara mereka bersolek cantik mereka juga menyimpan rasa malu dan takut saat bekerja. tujuannnya hanya mencari nafkah untuk memenuhi kebutuhan keluarga. tak kadang mereka mendapat pengalaman menyenangkan ataupun menyeramkan. kata-kata tak sopan, sentuhan fisik yang nyeleneh sudah menjadi makanan saat berkerja. sikap profesinalisme mereka inilah yang harus di pegang menjadi pendoman agar aman. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian deskriptif. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk melihat dari sudut pandang para SPG (Sales Promotion Girls) bagaimana mereka memaknai fonomena pelecehan yang terjadi di tempat kerja yang berlangsung verbal maupun non verbal. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian Fenomenologi oleh Edmund Husserl dan di selarskan dengan pendekatan teori Dramaturgi oleh Erving Goffman. Hasil penelitian menunjukan adanya because of motif dan in order to motiv,adanya panggung depan dan belakang yang berbeda dilihat dari segi penaampilan dan gaya hidup di setiap informan dan pemaknaan dalam pekerjaanya.
