Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of ease of use and level of trust on interest in using e-wallet applications among the people of Surabaya. This study uses quantitative methods by collecting data from 100 respondents who have actively used e-wallet applications through Google Form. Data analysis was performed using multiple linear regression to evaluate the relationship between the independent variables (ease of use and trust) and the dependent variable (interest in using e-wallet applications). The results of this study indicate that the ease of use of the e-wallet application has a significant positive effect on interest in use. The easier it is to use the e-wallet application, the higher the interest of the Surabaya people to use it. In addition, the level of trust in the e-wallet application also has a significant positive effect on interest in use. This indicates that people's trust in the security and reliability of e�wallet applications greatly influences their decision to adopt and continue using these services. This research makes an important contribution in understanding the factors that influence the adoption of e-wallet technology in an urban environment such as Surabaya. The practical implication of these findings is the importance of e-wallet service providers to ensure an easy-to�use interface and improve the security and reliability of the application to build user trust.
