Abstract
At the start of the Covid-19 pandemic in 2020, the automotive sub-sector industry experienced a decline in sales of approximately 50%. However, slowly managed to get back up. Based on export performance data for January-November 2021 from the Association of Indonesian Automotive Industries (Gaikindo). This can be seen in national car sales which reached 790,524 units. This study aims to determine the effect of financial structure and net working capital on profitability. The sample in this study are 12 automotive sub-sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange which publish annual financial reports consistently from 20197-2021. The sampling method uses saturated sampling method. The data source for this research is secondary data obtained from the annual report for the 2019-2021 period on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The data collection used is the documentation technique, the data collected is analyzed by the formula of each financial ratio then processed by the classical assumption test analysis method, multiple linear regression analysis, and hypothesis testing. The results of this study indicate that: 1) financial structure has no effect on profitability, 2) net working capital has an effect on profitability, 3) financial structure and net working capital simultaneously have an effect on profitability.
