Abstract

In the free market era where the market situation is increasingly competitive and full of uncertainty, everyone will be faced with intense competition. This requires companies to be able to carry out activities as effectively and efficiently as possible. So that the company can increase its competitiveness and the survival of the company can be guaranteed in the long term. Indonesia is a developing country that is driving the country's economy through Micro and Small Enterprises (MSMEs), now in 2022 as stated by the Minister of Economy that MSMEs are the most important pillar in the Indonesian economy. By looking at the great potential of MSMEs, a strategy is needed from the government in empowering them. The government plays a role in directing, guiding, protecting and fostering an atmosphere and climate that supports the growth of the business world. In Lamongan Regency, there are 2,353 Culinary MSMEs based on data from the Lamongan Regency Industry and Trade Service (Disperindag, 2021). Based on the processing industry sector, the potential advantages of the sector are mostly supported by the large presence of Home Industries (IRT) and Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). All of them contribute to the regional economy and employment in Lamongan Regency. As for the Office of Cooperatives and Micro Enterprises, there has been no training, empowerment and facilities for increasing cooperation networks in terms of marketing. Based on the reality and the explanation above, it can be concluded that there are no training facilities or forums to develop economic actors in the MSME field, this makes MSME actors less optimal in selling them. Therefore, I took the initiative to raise this problem and propose a solution, namely designing a Culinary MSME development facility in Lamongan Regency.
