Abstract
CV.Multicraft Company is a company engaged in manufacturing and importing goods. Multicraft requires quality human resources, especially employee performance. This study aims to determine the effect of competence, career development and job placement variables on employee performance at CVMulticraft Surabaya. This study uses quantitative methods. The population in this study amounted to 47 employees. The number of samples used is 47 people with a sampling technique using probability sampling. Data was collected through questionnaires that were distributed and observations. The data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression analysis. Data processing in this study used IBM SPSS Statistics 20. These results indicate that the competence variable has a significant effect on employee performance, career development has a significant effect on employee performance, work placement has a significant effect on employee performance. Competence, career development, and job placement simultaneously have a significant effect on employee performance with a significance value of 0.000 <0.05. The results of the coefficient of determination show a value of 0.655 or 65.5%, which means that all independent variables (Competence, Career Development, and Work Placement) can explain the performance variable of 65.5% while the remaining 34.5% is influenced by other variables outside of this study. . From this explanation, the author suggests paying attention and continuing to develop competencies, career development, and work placements in order to better improve employee performance.
