Abstract
The definition of school well-being is an ideal educational concept and is currently being implemented in the world of education. Another definition of school well-being is a situation that may be able to meet various basic needs in the learning environment. School well-being can be achieved if the basic needs of students in the school environment are met properly, so that the fulfillment of students' basic needs can have a positive impact on school life because students who feel prosperous will be serious about the subject matter delivered, tend to have good achievements. At school, can increase a tendency to want to follow lessons and to advance to grades by achieving higher grades. This study is based on an objective form to understand the relationship between self-adjustment and perceptions of school well-being by junior high school students. The subjects studied were 114 students of SMP X in Sidoarjo. The technique used in collecting the sample is using proportionate stratified random sampling. The measuring instrument is the self-adjustment scale as well as the school well-being scale. Testing the form of the hypothesis in this study uses a product moment correlation with the help of SPSS with version 25 for Mac OS X. The results of the hypothesis test obtained the value of rxy = 0.649 with a significance of p = 0.000 < 0.05. Which means that a hypothesis stating that there is a positive relationship between the form of selfadjustment and the perception of school well-being of SMP X students in Sidoarjo is acceptable.
