Abstract
In a company the employee is one important factor, therefore employees are expected to have work engagement at the company. In fact not an employee has a work engagement due to many factors such as, employees do not work in accordance with the level of education and salary that is not appropriate. The purpose of this study is to look at the relationship between meaningful work and work engagement, which is carried out on employees at PT X. This study was conducted on 50 employees, by means of probability sampling and this study uses two kinds of scales, namely the scale of work engagement based on Scaufeli and Bakker and the scale of meaningful of work based on Streger. This research was conducted using product moment correlation. The results obtained are showing a correlation coefficient (rxy) = 0.819 with p = 0.000 (p <0.05). This means that there is a significant positive correlation between meaningful work and work engagement.
