Abstract

The purpose of this study to find out how the implementation of Activity Based Management at PT. Allianz Life Insurance Indonesia. PT. Allianz Insurance Indonesia is a company engaged in services. The research method used is descriptive research method using qualitative approach. Methods of data collection by interview, Observation and documentation. The results showed that the management of PT. Allianz’s insurance in its operational activities has not focused to much attention to identifying every activity that takes place, so the time to process the document becomes long enough that it will result in a pending document. Non value-added activites that should be eliminated at PT. Allianz Life Indonesia insurance between SPAJ scan and completeness and repair of processing equipm,ent outside maintance program. These non value-added activities will surely lead to cost-added costs, enabling Activity Based Management (ABM) to save vosts. Therefore, the management needs to implement Activity Based Management to eliminate the activities of not value added, so that will be achieved operational cost efficiency. Management PT. Allianz Life Indonesia Insurance in its operational activities has not been able to focus its attention on identifying every Activity that happened, so there are still costs incurred due to unnecessary activity which will lead to waste of cost.
