Abstract
Hospital construction projects have a high level of complexity due to the involvement of various technical activities and the requirement to meet strict quality standards. In the construction project of Mitra Sehat Medika Hospital in Pandaan, Pasuruan Regency, East Java, there are potential risks that may affect project performance in terms of time, cost, and quality. This study aims to identify risk categories, determine risk ranking, and analyze appropriate risk control measures. The methods used include Risk Breakdown Structure (RBS) to identify risk variables and Severity Index (SI) to assess the probability and impact levels. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to the contractor. The risk variables were focused on preparatory work, earthwork and foundation, as well as structural work. The results indicate that out of 20 identified risk variables, 3 are classified as very high risk, 4 as high risk, and 13 as moderate risk. The very high- risk category consists of initial measurement errors, inadequate quality control, and structural design changes. High-risk variables include discrepancies between actual soil conditions and investigation results, foundation equipment damage, heavy equipment failure, and reinforcement errors. The ranking results show that very high-risk variables are the top priority due to their highest probability and impact levels. Risk control strategies are implemented based on the risk category, namely risk avoidance for very high risks, risk transfer for high risks, and risk reduction for moderate risks
