Abstract
Machine performance is a key factor in ensuring the success of production systems in the manufacturing industry. This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of the Hydraulic Dished End Press at PT Meco Inoxprima and to identify the factors causing performance degradation through an integrated approach combining the OEE, FMEA, and TPM methods. Based on operational data from September 2025 to February 2026, an average OEE value of 44.96% was obtained, which is still far below the world-class standard of 85%. The most influential component is the performance rate, with an average value of 64.20%. Analysis of the Six Big Losses indicates that setup and adjustment losses (12.50%) and equipment failure losses (11.93%) are the largest losses faced. Through the FMEA method, the three most critical failure modes were identified: hydraulic seal leakage with an RPN value of 432, hydraulic pump failure with an RPN value of 300, and die wear with an RPN value of 280. Improvement proposalsthrough the implementation of TPM pillars were carried out in phases starting in April 2026 and continued in May 2026. The results showed an increase in the OEE value from 44.96% to 61.92%, demonstrating the positive impact and sustainability of the improvements made on machine performance
