Abstract
This mseamh aims to analyze the mechanical properties of composite materials based on natural pine resin,resin with reinforments in the from of coconut shell powder and avocado seed powder. Both powders are biomass waste which has a high lignocellulose content and has potential as an environmentally friendly filler. The powder was sieved at a mesh size of 200-300 and mixed in resin with varying weight fractions of 500, 100/0, The composite manufacturing process uses an open molding menthod,the mechanical testing is carried out in the from of an impact test . The results show that avocado seed powder pmvides a stable and significant increase in the energy absorption capacity of the composite , with the best performance at variations of 1000 and 200/0 (average 1,843 joules).ln contrast ,coconut shell powder produces absorption energy that tends to he inconsistent, indicating limitations in the bonding ability between composite components . This research proves that avocado seed powder is more effective than coconut shell powder as a filler in natural resin based composites.
