Abstract
Profesi kepolisian merupakan pekerjaan dengan tingkat stres kerja yang tinggi akibat tuntutan operasional dan emosional, sehingga berpotensi memengaruhi subjective well-being (SWB) anggota kepolisian. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh stres kerja terhadap subjective well-being dengan problem-focused coping (PFC) sebagai variabel mediator. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain survei pada 349 anggota kepolisian POLDA JATIM, dengan pengumpulan data melalui skala stres kerja, problem-focused coping, serta subjective well-being yang mencakup afek positif (PA), afek negatif (NA), dan kepuasan hidup (SWLS). Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan analisis jalur untuk menguji pengaruh langsung dan tidak langsung antarvariabel. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa stres kerja berpengaruh negatif signifikan terhadap subjective well-being (β = −0.726; p < .001). Stres kerja juga berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap problem-focused coping (β = 0.385; p < .001), dan problem-focused coping berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap subjective well-being (β = 0.315; p < .001). Selain itu, hasil uji pengaruh tidak langsung menunjukkan bahwa problem-focused coping secara signifikan memediasi pengaruh stres kerja terhadap subjective well-being (β = 0.198; p < .001). Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa problem-focused coping berperan sebagai mediator parsial dalam hubungan antara stres kerja dan subjective well-being, sehingga strategi coping yang berorientasi pada pemecahan masalah menjadi faktor penting dalam menjaga kesejahteraan psikologis anggota kepolisian di bawah tekanan kerja yang tinggi.
