Abstract

Penataan gudang bahan baku memiliki peran penting dalam kelancaran proses produksi, terutama pada perusahaan yang menggunakan sistem pemindahan material secara intensif seperti PT Witha Karya Utamma. Permasalahan yang muncul pada kondisi gudang saat ini adalah penempatan pallet yang belum teratur, jarak antar pallet yang terlalu rapat, serta tidak adanya lokasi penyimpanan tetap untuk setiap jenis bahan baku. Akibatnya, operator sering melakukan pemindahan pallet yang tidak diperlukan hanya untuk mengakses bahan yang dibutuhkan, sehingga waktu pengambilan menjadi lebih lama dari standar. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk merancang ulang tata letak gudang dengan tujuan meminimalkan waktu proses pengambilan bahan baku ke lantai produksi. Metode yang digunakan meliputi perhitungan kebutuhan pallet, analisis frekuensi perpindahan, pengelompokan bahan baku menggunakan klasifikasi ABC, serta penyusunan layout usulan dan simulasi menggunakan FlexSim. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa relayout yang disusun mampu mengelompokkan bahan baku sesuai tingkat pergerakannya, menyediakan jalur forklift yang lebih aman, serta mengurangi aktivitas pemindahan pallet yang tidak produktif. Berdasarkan hasil simulasi, waktu pengambilan bahan baku mengalami penurunan dibandingkan kondisi awal. Dengan demikian, tata letak baru dinilai lebih efisien dan dapat mendukung kelancaran aliran material menuju lantai produksi.
