Abstract

Permasalahan banjir di Desa Medaeng, Kecamatan Waru, Kabupaten Sidoarjo diakibatkan oleh perubahan tata guna lahan, curah hujan tinggi, serta kondisi saluran drainase yang tidak optimal dan kurangnya pemeliharaan. Studi awal menunjukkan kapasitas saluran tidak mampu menampung debit akibat sedimen dan minimnya area resapan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan debit rencana saluran dengan kala ulang 2, 5, 10 tahun, menghitung kapasitas tampung pada saluran drainase eksisting, serta menganalisis alternatif optimalisasi saluran drainase menggunakan pemodelan EPA-SWMM. Metode penelitian mencakup analisis hidrologi menggunakan Poligon Thiessen, distribusi Log Pearson Tipe III dan metode Rasional untuk memperoleh debit banjir rencana. Kapasitas saluran eksisting dihitung dengan rumus Manning, kemudian pemodelan EPA-SWMM untuk melihat akurasi perhitungan manual dan kondisi limpasan pada saluran. Hasil analisis hidrologi menunjukkan debit banjir rencana sebesar 0,689 m3/dtk (2 tahun) 0,855 m3/dtk (5 tahun) dan 0,955 m3/dtk (10 tahun). Perhitungan kapasitas tampung saluran eksisting sebesar 0,0693m3/dtk (Saluran 1), 0,0588m3/dtk (saluran 2), 0,2163m3/dtk (saluran 3), 0,2475m3/dtk (saluran 4) dan 0,2491m3/dtk (saluran 5). Nilai dari analisis ini menunjukkan Qhidrologi > Qhidrolika atau saluran mengalami banjir. Simulasi EPA-SWMM juga menunjukkan seluruh saluran mengalami banjir. Melalui proses Trial and Error pada simulasi, didapatkan dimensi saluran optimal yang direkomendasikan adalah saluran tertutup (U-Ditch) dengan lebar 0,80 m dan kedalaman 1m. Pemilihan saluran tertutup bertujuan untuk efisiensi ruang permukaan di area penelitian.
