Abstract

PT XYZ adalah perusahaan manufaktur yang memproduksi material tahan panas (refractory) untuk industri semen, baja, pembangkit listrik dan pengolahan limbah, dengan mesin press sebagai salah satu mesin inti dalam proses produksinya. Selama lima bulan terakhir, perusahaan menghadapi peningkatan frekuensi kerusakan mesin press terutama pada komponen stempel, piringan dan mouldbox yang mengakibatkan gangguan proses produksi, peningkatan biaya perawatan dan tidak tercapainya target produksi harian sebesar 900 pcs. Untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut, dilakukan optimalisasi sistem perawatan mesin dan manajemen persediaan sparepart menggunakan pendekatan Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), Reliability-Centered Maintenance (RCM) dan Time-Based Maintenance (TBM). Data Mean Time To Failure (MTTF) dan Mean Time To Repair (MTTR) dianalisis untuk menyusun jadwal perawatan preventif secara tepat guna di mana TBM diterapkan pada komponen dengan pola kerusakan terprediksi seperti stempel dan piringan dengan MTTF selama 14 sampai15 hari serta oil dengan MTTF selama 27 sampai 29 hari sementara RCM digunakan untuk komponen berumur panjang dan kritikal seperti gear dan as hingga 8 bulan. TPM berperan dalam meningkatkan keterlibatan operator dalam perawatan harian untuk mendeteksi potensi kerusakan lebih awal. Di sisi lain, manajemen sparepart dilakukan dengan metode Reorder Point (ROP) berdasarkan analisis konsumsi aktual selama enam bulan dan lead time pengadaan di mana komponen dengan frekuensi tinggi diprioritaskan dan pemesanan dilakukan 14 hari sebelum waktu penggunaan untuk mengantisipasi keterlambatan. Pendekatan ini tidak hanya meningkatkan efisiensi operasional dan keandalan mesin press tetapi juga memastikan ketersediaan sparepart tepat waktu tanpa menyebabkan overstocking, mendukung keberlanjutan produksi dan pengendalian biaya.
