Abstract

This research develops an IoT-based monitoring system for a hybrid power management setup that integrates a solar power plant (PLTS) and an uninterruptible power supply (UPS) at PT. Best Energy System, Surabaya. This system is designed to ensure uninterrupted power supply for critical equipment, including network infrastructure, CCTV, computing devices, and office communication systems. Utilizing an Arduino Uno and ESP32, the system combines the PZEM-004T, WCS1700, SCT013, and DHT22 sensors to monitor electrical parameters (voltage, current, power) and environmental conditions (temperature and humidity). Data is sent to Firebase every 7 seconds and displayed in real time via a web interface. Sensor accuracy tests showed 97.43% (PZEM-004T), 98.04% (WCS1700), 97.06% (SCT013), and 96.69% (DHT22). This system supports three operational modes (PLN, AUTO, PLTS) and includes a buzzer alert when the battery reaches its capacity threshold. This study resulted in improved power reliability, increased energy efficiency, and optimal real-time monitoring, supporting sustainable energy management in industrial environments through IoT technology. Furthermore, the system enables early detection of potential problems, extending equipment lifespan, and improving operational efficiency.
