Abstract

The Accounting Information System encompasses a broad scope and interconnected management levels. Such a system is essential for every institution to control income and expenses effectively. In this study, an Accounting Information System focusing on the modules of submission, reporting, and validation is highly needed by an institution, particularly a Higher Education Foundation. The utilization of the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method has proven to be effective in prioritizing and ranking budget allocations based on the applied criteria. Previously, the Higher Education Foundation managed its budget manually. The initial process involves identifying relevant criteria and assigning weights to each criterion. Subsequently, budget users propose activities to be carried out, culminating in the ranking and determination of funding to be allocated by the Higher Education Foundation. The digitalization of an accounting information system for budget management indicates that this study contributes positively to the development of budget management in Higher Education Foundations.
