Abstract

Sentiment analysis is the computational study of expressed opinions, sentiments, and emotional expressions. The goal of sentiment analysis is to classify sentences or opinions into specific categories, such as Positive, Negative, or Neutral. Social media, as an interactive platform on the internet, allows users to communicate. Online lending is a financial service that operates online through a mobile application platform. The existence of these applications creates a lot of conversation in the community, especially in tweets related to online lending on social media Twitter. In a society of opinion, there are both supportive and opposing opinions, and analysis of social media conversations can provide insight into the general sentiment of the public towards online lending. One approach that can be used for this analysis is the Support Vector Machine method.
