Abstract

Terminal Minak Koncar sebagai terminal Tipe B di Kabupaten Lumajang berperan penting sebagai simpul pergerakan antar kota dalam provinsi (AKDP) serta layanan angkutan lokal. Namun, terminal ini mengalami penurunan fungsi dan kualitas pelayanan akibat kurangnya daya tarik terhadap masyarakat dan berkembangnya moda transportasi alternatif. Perancangan terminal ini dilakukan melalui pendekatan Neovernakular, yang menggabungkan nilai-nilai lokal khas Lumajang seperti motif dan bentuk dari daun pisang serta kekayaan budaya arsitektur daerah dengan prinsip desain modern yang adaptif dan fungsional. Konsep dasar “Estafet Ruang” diangkat sebagai representasi kesinambungan antara bangunan lama dan baru, serta sebagai wujud pelestarian dan transformasi nilai lokal. Penataan zonasi terminal dirancang berdasarkan kebutuhan operasional dengan pembagian peron bus dan shelter angkot yang terintegrasi, serta didukung fasilitas publik seperti masjid, kios, dan jembatan penyeberangan. Tujuan dari perancangan ini adalah menciptakan terminal yang tidak hanya berfungsi sebagai pusat transportasi, tetapi juga menjadi landmark kota yang merepresentasikan identitas lokal secara ikonik dan humanis.
