Abstract

This study aims to design the user interface and user experience of a food ordering application for the canteen at Universitas 17 Agustus 1945 Surabaya. The research method uses a User-Centered Design (UCD) approach involving 50 initial respondents, and A/B Testing to determine the design variants that best meet user needs. Validation was conducted using the System Usability Scale (SUS) involving 51 respondents, resulting in a score of 77 in the "Good" category. A virtual reality design was also developed to enhance user experience, provide an overview of the canteen environment, and serve as an innovative promotional method. The results of this study are expected to assist in the development of a user-friendly and effective food ordering application.
